A question for people who have grown up kids?(about behaviour)3 part Q?
1.Did you have a strong willed/naughtier then average child? 2.How did you cope?3.Did they turn out ok in the end?
I had one very strong willed child, a daughter, who was always very determined and knew her own mind.
It wasn’t easy to raise her, she could be difficult at times, but as a teen I never worried about her going off the rails or doing drugs or smoking – she knew it was dumb and didn’t hesitate to tell her friends that it was dumb! She didn’t care whether they didn’t want to be friends with her any more, she knew she was right!
In that way, I was glad she was strong willed, but she wasn’t a naughty child.
Today, she is 30 years old, is still a strong, determined woman with a career and family, and she has a strength of character that many her age don’t have. I’m very proud of her, but she wasn’t an easy child to raise.
