Moms who were working but became stay at home moms: were there any effects on your children’s behavior?

I quit my job after working for the past year and a half. My son has mental diagnoses including bipolar, Adhd, and cognitive disorder. He has been having severe behavioral issues at home and school. I am hoping that being home with him, having more time in the afternoons to spend with him, will have a positive effect on his behavior. I am just wondering if any other moms went from working to stay at home and what the effects were on the children?

after working many years as a single parent i did the same thing and even after having to take a Life style change it was all for the better. My son has had a tremendous change. He also has bipolar and aspergers . He has gained a mommy that can support him academically emotionally physically .he went from being two grade levels behind in special ed to now being in mainstream in high school on a B average in the 10th grade. so i say good for you.
